With the major May 2026 update, we have enhanced every counselling type: new communication channels, AI features with full data protection, and a significantly faster platform.
Classic 1:1 counselling.
A counselling request arrives at the centre. The team decides who takes the case – and the counsellor begins a secure, encrypted conversation with the client.
Switching between synchronous and asynchronous text communication or video is seamless – adapting to what each counselling situation requires.
If needed, cases can be smoothly transferred to a colleague – with full history preserved and no disruption for the client.
Thanks to on-device AI translation, messages can now be translated directly on the device – without data leaving the browser. Ideal for multilingual counselling contexts.
Anonymous live chat.
The most anonymous and accessible form of counselling at Connecta. No registration, no login – just open the chat and start writing.
Counsellors set when the chat is open and control availability. If the connection drops, the session resumes automatically once restored.
Counsellors are reliably notified when clients leave the chat – even if they simply close the browser window.
If clients want to continue counselling over a longer period, the anonymous chat can be seamlessly converted into a registered 1:1 case.
Moderated group chat.
Organise moderated group chats with multiple clients. Set the time and duration, and invite participants via a secure link.
New: Group chats are now also accessible to clients without an ongoing 1:1 case. Share a link and open group counselling to new participants.
Video is also available in group chat. All messages are end-to-end encrypted – just like in individual counselling.
Scheduled appointments.
Clients book fixed appointments for chat or video counselling – directly and easily. No waiting, no uncertainty.
Counsellors define which time slots they make available for bookings. This gives them full control over their schedule.
Incoming video calls now reach clients even when the browser is minimised or closed – via push notifications in the Progressive Web App.
Scheduled appointments reduce no-shows, create commitment on both sides, and ensure more structured counselling.
